| Description: | The aim of the website I run is to securely store uploaded songs / manuscripts, text documents etc. in a database where I as administrator could add, copy, or delete the uploaded songs / files and download them at will to a home based computer. I have tried various off the shelf scripts but they don’t fit the criteria I need or are over cumbersome and difficult to administer. (Me being a dumb ***)
I need a script that would enable users of my song writers’ website to….
Sign up to become a member including full postal address and email address
Members would be able to……
Upload songs (mp3, wav) to my server.
Upload lyrics / manuscripts (txt, word, pdf) to my server.
The “up loader” would need to login for each upload session.
The “up loader would need to give the titles of songs etc. they upload (Up to a maximum of 14 tracks per session).
The forms must include “capcha” or similar to deter robots etc
The upload form should transfer details to a MySQL database containing the fields “Authors name”, Address, “Title of work”, “Number of tracks”, “Titles of tracks (14 max)”, “Email address”
A progress bar or similar must be included.
Session cookies would be helpful
The uploaded songs, lyrics / manuscripts need to stored in a folder unique to the “Up loader, songwriter”
The “up loader, songwriter” would need to receive email confirmation after each upload session.
The administrator would need to be notified after each upload
All uploaded files should be secure and not be accessible or viewable to the public.
Maximum file size should be 25mb per session (maximum of 14 tracks)
The administrator must have total control over all files and uploads, being able to review, move and delete all uploaded files.
The administrator must be able to ban IP addresses at his discretion.
The script must be easy to administer and install as I am technophobic and find all such scripts and their implementation extremely difficult to understand.
All Copyrights and ownership rights pertaining to the script must revert to me.
